chef What ONE Ingredient is a Must Have?

What ingredient do you rely on more than others and just couldn't do without it?

For me, it would have to be diced, canned tomatoes. I go through those faster than any other ingredient.

That's a hard one... guess I would have to say onions. I go thru a lot of onions.

But, like BB, I also go thru a lot of the canned diced tomatoes. I buy them by the case at Costco.

It is really hard to pinpoint one. There are so many wonderful ingredients that are staples in my pantry. I could probably have a long list, but the tomatoes are top of the list.

I, too, buy them get them at Costco. It's a great deal and they are really good.
