I've been meaning to make cookies for weeks. At first I couldn't make them because I used up all the baking soda when I made pretzels right before Christmas. Then I couldn't find the cream of tartar. Today I thought I had it all together. I started mixing my ingredients, went to get the 3 eggs. Doh. I only had 2. I put the bowl in the refrigerator, I'll try to get some eggs and finish up tonight. I thought I had everything today, but I didn't check the eggs, I just thought I had them.

Don't you just hate it when you do that? Some ingredients you can make substitutions for, but some you just can't... especially when it comes to baking.
