Eating Corn on the cob, do you do rows... columns or random bites all over?

My husband does columns, around the cob entirely in segments. I do rows, like an old type writer. My mom takes random bites, I think she needs some sort of counseling for this.

I do columns from one end to the other, usually none stop, I love good sweet corn. I very seldom put an ear down before it is finished, and there is nothing left, I clean them off.

prepared with passion and served with love !

Rows... star at the tip and make my way to stalk end.

I do columns, DH does rows. Interesting, I had never thought much about it. Wonder what it means?

Funny it seems like we have a trend of our significant other doing the opposite of what we do when it comes to rows or columns.

As a computer keyboarding/typing teacher, I find myself doing rows across to the right - bing! down and to the left and then to the right again, lol. I am quite methodical about my corn.

This would be an interesting case study. Now I'm going to start and take note on how people eat their corn and see if, personality-wise, there are similarities.

I do the end columns, then the rest of the cob in rows. And I like doing four rows at a time, more is too much, three isn't enough. Heh.
