    Back to Nature Granola

Wow this stuff is good. I bought some of the sunflower pumpkin seed and I can't stop eating it. I know it's supposed to be good for you ... but probably not if you eat the whole bag.

I'll have to try that, I love granola and trail mix. My mom used to make granola when I was a kid, and no she wasn't a hippie! I have been hooked on the stuff ever since.

I love when they put pistachios in those mixes. Always have a huge container of pistachios for snacks in on the counter. Those have to be my favorite then the pumpkin seeds. Wow, it's almost pumpkin time. Does anyone roast the seeds from their jack-o-lanterns? I do!

We usually make the cinnamon pumpkin seeds when we roast ours.

I still have some of my granola. It' has about 23 grams of fiber so I figured eating the whole bag might not play out well and I controlled myself.

I have some of the Cranberry Pecan too but I haven't opened it yet. I'll wait till I finish this one first.

Never been a eater of the loose granola, but do love the granola and trail mix bars by Nature Valley. Several of my favs are the Oats n' Honey, Apple Crisp and the Pecan Crunch. Ate a lot of them when we were traveling out West those two summers and did a lot of hiking and off-roading in the Jeep. They have a new line of granola nut clusters that I want to try. The bars make a good afternoon snack or a quick breakfast if you're in a rush.

Has anyone tried the Mrs. May's nut bars from Costco? They are the best! All nuts and fruit....strawberry, cranberry, tropical fruit and blueberry. Once you try them, you are hooked!
Better than any other health bar I've ever eaten.

We're going to Costco on Thursday when we make a town trip. I'll have to see if our Costco carries them.

We have Costco, Sam's and BJ's. I would rather have a costco membership, but it is across town and BJ's is just a mile or so from here, it isn't as good but it is convenient.

At least you have a choice. We are lucky to have Sams here. I am surprised the Kroger union didn't keep them out too.
