Oh Gosh Paula...

I just saw Paula make some gooey, cheesy mac and cheese and it looked so yummy. I wanted to reach through the TV and take it away from her.

I made her recipe one year for the kids to have on Christmas. I think the adults ate more of it.

I've never made her mac n' cheese, but she's got a sweet potato casserole in one of her first cookbooks that's to die for! Doesn't have the marshmallows on top, but this topping made of brown sugar, butter, pecans, etc. that makes like a pecan praline topping when it bakes. It's like having a veggie and a dessert in the same dish.

The sweet potato casserole that I make is like that, I will have to look in my Paula cookbooks to see how similar it is to mine. I have a friend that doesn't care for sweet potatoes but tried this because I made it, now she asks for it every year.

I love baked macaroni and cheese, I have a good recipe that is still creamy and saucy when it comes out of the oven, it is pure comfort on a plate!

I love a bowl of good creamy mac n' cheese too. I'll have to check out the recipes for her shows today and see how it was made.

I just entered the Tillamook Mac 'n Cheese contest. Made up this delicious mac 'n cheese with artichokes....SO good! I have two portions in the freezer.

If I wasn't going out to lunch with friends today, that's what I'd be having.
