In honor of Deen's upcoming sold-out appearance at the N.C. State Fair, we're sponsoring a couple of contests inspired by her Ladyship.
For the Paula Deen Limerick and Accent Invitational, we'd like you to pen your own silly, five-line verse in ode to Deen. Please follow the form for limerick, (see the classic Edward Lear limerick far right) and please keep them clean. This is a family newspaper, you know.
