Deen Boys Visit Chicago

They replayed the episode yesterday where Bobby and Jamie visit Chicago. They take a look at deep dish pizza, some special pretzels and cookies, and Eli's Cheesecake. But what I thought was funny was that as they were introducing Chicago I think that as they said the Sears Tower on the screen they were showing the Hancock building.

I saw that as well. I have never heard of the pretzel place, have you? I lived there for 24 years and it sure didn't ring a bell in my head.

Lou's pizza, of course, I know it well. Even order them on-line for when I get the cravings for deep dish. Wonder why they didn't hit on the Chicago-style Hot Dog...that is a classic!

I like sweet pretzels. The Cinnamon kind at the mall are yummy. I would like to try the chocolate ones they showed. It might me too rich for me though.

I hadn't heard of any of the places mentioned, except of course Eli's. I asked my Dad about the pizza place though because I told him that I'd never heard of it and he said thats because I didn't live on the North side.

I suppose I do miss everything living in the suburbs.

But the South Side of Chicago ... is the baddest part of town.

Do you know Leroy Brown?

Not personally, but I've heard he's the baddest man in the whole damn town.
