I guess to a certain extent I am because I have this board. I have bought some of the Food Network stuff at Kohls, and people get things for me with the stars on them. My husband bought me the Emeril set of cookware years ago as a Christmas gift because he knows I like Emeril. But his cookware has been excellent so I have picked up other things from Emeril. The only thing I was disappointed with was the Emeril dishware, and he has since offered a different set which I assume is better, but I have mostly fiestaware now. I have some Bobby Flay items too.
They are great for gift ideas when you don't know what to buy someone and you know they like the food network or a specific star. I have received a few things from family members who know this is sort of my thing since I have this website.
Celebrity endorsed products, or products with their name attached, do not influence my buying.
Is anyone on the boards influenced by them?
The only person at FN that has influenced me to buy something is Alton. And, it's not because it has his name on it. It's because he uses the product and recommends it. Like Lodge, Shun, etc.
The only other things I have with a FN chef/cook's name on it is some cookbooks.

Well hmmmm guess you could say I am but I look more for quality than who endorses it. I Have Gordon Ramsay Royal Dalton China, I like the purple on the chargers and the white dinner ware. I have Emeril's cookware, it is good stainless with the copper, and quality made by all clad. Knives I have all by Wusthof, some endorsed by Emeril, mostly Cordon Bleu.
