Blech!

When I flipped the TV on this past Wednesday, I happened to catch the tail end of one of Paula's shows when she was making a lime sherbet punch. I'm just totally amazed by Paula's lack of....I don't know what to call it....cleanliness/hygiene in the kitchen.

First she used a spatula (or spachuler as she calls it) to remove lime sherbet from a carton into the punch bowl, then licked the spatula. She used the same spatula to remove the sherbet from a second carton. Then she added the rest of her ingredients then took a straw, stuck it in the middle and started sipping. Removed the straw, licked the end and set it aside. Then she took a huge cooking spoon, dipped it into the punch then happily slurped away as it dripped back into the bowl. Then, when she was recapping what she'd made that day, her pet parrot was perched with its arse directly over the punch bowl. Yah, I didn't believe it either! Now I ask you.....would any of you wanna eat at her dinner table???

She does that on Paula's Party quite often. Especially when she goes into the audience. She takes a bite off a fork, then gets another forkful and puts it in some man's mouth in the audience. They go along with it, but eeewwww. She isn't the most sanitary. Wonder why the producers don't stop her.

Maybe if it was just my family eating. If you have kids it's hard to tell what you eat. Especially when they are very small. They bite things and put them back when you aren't looking. Or take chips and if they don't like them put them back in the bag. Of course Paula is a little old for that.

I saw that episode too but no piggie thing that Paula does surprises me any more. Seemed a shame to ruin a whole bowl of punch but I guess she figures it's her show.
