Nice article...Especially here in NY, where it is going to be 70 degrees and sunny all week. Time for a party!

It's warming up here too. I am eager to start eating outside on the screen porch.

I was outside for a little bit today, however the BEES are horrible already!! Even noticed they have moved into our house right above the backdoor.

They are getting a visit tomorrow from the Bee Doctor. Hate to do it, but from what they told me, they can ruin your house with the huge nest. Also, they are the little black nasty ones that can really make you ill if you get stung.

I want to use the patio next week and can't do it if the Bee family pays me an unwelcomed visit.

The carpenter bees are a pain here. They bore into the wood ... then that attracts the woodpeckers. It's a never ending cycle. I saw a huge woodpecker way up in a tree the other day. Duck sized. I haven't seen one that large here before. If he starts in on the deck we will fall thru. I hope he was just passing thru on his spring trip to some place else.

Hi I'm new here. I just wanted to jump in on this topic. I had the pleasure of going to this on Saturday. If you get a chance to go to anything involving Paula and or the Deen Boys then I strongly suggest you go! Their show was so much fun. Someone tried to put a damper on Paula's part of the show(Smithfield foods protestor) but that didn't stop anyone there from having a great time. During the boys part of the show Jamie did most of the cooking and Bobby did most of the talking lol. Paula on the other hand did all of the talking and her assistant and Michael did all the cooking LOL I think they'll be having this in Washington DC too. Not sure if The Deens will be there but I'm sure they will.
Anyway I just had to come in here on this topic. Can't wait to get in on other subjects here

Good to have you join us. Sounds like you had a lot of fun. The Deen boys came to the state fair here in WV but I didn't get to go. The tickets included a meal, I will have to check and see if they are coming again this year.
