We use to make his style of goulash, a long time ago. I told my wife about it a couple years ago, she said I don't like goulash, I said okay . Well we were watching FN a couple weeks ago and guess what Bobby fixes his goulash, well the wife goes that looks good we ought to try it, I go okay. Well the other day I go about fixin goulash my way, which is hardly any different than his, after I got it ready and served it she that was pretty good will have to fix it again, go figure sometimes I just want to but really all I can do is just , after all she is my customer.

I feel your pain. I have a hard time getting anyone here to try something new.

Well if yours are like mine thank god for FN because other wise we would be eating the same ole stuff and all I would hear is I want some thing different but when you go to fix it, it I don't like that stuff in my food.:72: I am glad I am not the only one that has these issues, it is nice to know your not alone in your quest.

Once in a while I will make something different and they will like it. Most of the time I hear ... it's okay ... but I like something else you fix better.

My mother made goulash with chunks of beef and egg noodles...that's the only kind I know. Making it with ground beef and elbow macaroni sounds like a hamburger (helper) meal. I'm sure it is good, just not what I know as goulash.

My grandmother would make Hungarian goulash occasionally. I don't remember any kind of pasta in it though.

OK minus the soy sauce, it sounds like my mom's American Chop Suey.
    Pasta, Meat, peppers, onions, tomotoes....done!
Think I asked about this a bit back.
My Grandma Jackson (who passed away 10 years ago yesterday 5/19) used Campbells Tomatoes Soup in place of the regular tomatoes. My grandma was a down east yankee girl from the farm. (I miss her).
