Jamie Deen's Blog Feed is on a distinguished road
Sorry I?m late y?all?.

it took a few more days to shake off the family vacation than I anticipated. We spent a beautiful week down in the Bahamas for our birthdays (thank y?all for the well wishes) and JackDeen had the best time. We stayed at the Atlantis Resort and all Jack says now is ?fishy!? He was so cute and Brooke and I are just thankful he slept through the nights. He has a tendecy to wake up a few times a night when he?s on the road. Brooke?s youngest brother Scott just graduated from high school and we had him along as his graduation gift. He helped with the baby at night and Brooke and I actually sat down at dinner and chewed our food. First meal I have tasted in two years. The last post brought a question about the television show Bobby and I did for the Food Network, Road Tasted, andwhat was the status of new shows. The show airs on Sunday right now and we had an awesome time doing it...if you see the first one (California) and the last one (Nashville) its fun to guess how much weight I gained . Just kidding. Don?t guess....25 pounds. BUT Brooke was pregnant and me being the loving, supportivehusband that I am, I ate everytime she did then we would lay down. Being pregnant is tough I gotta tell ya. The show took between five to six months of travel a year and I could?nt be awayfrom Brooke and Jack for five minutes so I came off the road. I had so much fun doing the show with Bobby and that was the only thingthat pulled at me. We were traveling and eating and going to baseball parks around the country andmaking friends and people really liked the show...... but.I waited my whole life to be a daddy and i believe the decision to quit the show and stay home for my family was what momma and daddy tried so hard to teach Bobby and I when we were growing up.....family first. Thanks for keeping up with us, I?m still on Bobby about starting up his own blog. It takes alot oftime sorting through his marriage proposals. Come on bro.....join the club. Y?all look for us this friday morning on Good Morning America? talk to y?all next week-Jamie
