if you have a two year old.Yesterday I took down Jack?s crib. He has been in his big boy bed for the last week or so with no problems. Every day I asked him if we could take down his crib and for a week straight, ?No sir?, until yesterday he said yes. We got his little tool set all together and we were going upstairs to break it down but he got distracted, imagine that, so I did it myself. Later on he bopped into his room and didn?t give it a second thought. The crib is gone! But on the other hand.....the crib is gone. Where did our baby go? I guess one of the things parents have to deal with fromthe very beginning is watching the strings to our kids slowly unravel and break away. First his crib is put away and tomorrow he is going to want to drive. Brooke and I have already decided to tell him the driving age is 25. Best news ever part 2.Jack crawled up on the potty and pooped! There is no down side to this one. As long as we keep him naked he runs to his little frog potty but in the last few days he has wanted to crawl up on the big seat. Thank the lord. Anybody out there cleaned poop out of a plastic frog potty before.....nothing good about it.We had a great momma?s day. Jack and I got a big canvas from the art supply store and he choose the color and where he wanted daddy to put the paint. He had a wide brush and proceeded to paint his masterpiece. Brooke was so surprised. Jack made me a little clay thing with his picture in it from school and nothing in life is better than a handmade gift from your child. We went to moms for lunch, yes she cooked as usual, and after I gave her a mother?s day card announced, in front of Bobby, ?Mom here?s your present...a grandchild. Bobby what did you get mom?? I never get tired of that joke......Thanks for checking back. Do good things and we will talk next week.-jamie
