Thank you Deb M.!!!!
Deb M. sent me a pizza from Lou Malnattie?s(?) in Chicago as a birthday gift. A thousand thanks Deb! It was sooooo good too. I ate them both the day I received the package and yum yum, that is the best pizza in the whole world. I am holding steady in my ?trying to eat better? plan, I hate to say diet, but I dove into those pies with both feet. For those of you who have not had a true deep dish pizza, and if you count the delivery places? you haven?t, you must find a way to get next to one soon. The cheese is the bottom layer and then sauce and topped with meat, sausage is my favorite( thanks again Deb) and it?s deep and crispy. One of a kind and the best. The Best! Brooke and I celebrated our birthday?s this year by taking Jack to the Thomas the Train live stage show at the Fox Theater in Atlanta and we could not have had a better day. He is at the age of everything being such a wonder. We just watched his face for two hours and every time he turned to us wide eyed and his little mouth forming a perfect O we melted. We need a second child to tip the scales back to an equal balance. We are both hopeless suckers for that kid. The book-signing will be 8:am until 10:am or so, I figure we will run over, at the restaurant Thursday July the 23rd. We are gonna have some fun so I hope anyone that wants to come can make the trip. Oh, quick aside to Maryan, my wife was a Zeta too. Gotta boogie y?all, thanks for checking back Do good -jamie

It's Lou Malnati's...and I have ordered their pizzas MANY times. I take the pizza out of the pan, oil the pan and put the pizza back in....really makes the crust extra good.
Really love the convenience of ordering on-line, but not nearly as good as having one back in their restaurants in the Chicago (area).
I use to go to the one in Elk Grove Village back in the early 70's. Loved it!!!
Seeing as we don't have any deep-dish places out here, I make my own. That bottom layer of Provolone is the killer ingredient...SO DELICIOUS!BerryBaby
