Publisher of Readers Digest & Every Day with Rachael Ray plans to file for bankruptcy
In a letter to vendors, the company says it expects the majority of its vendors, presumably including photographers, to be fully paid during the bankruptcy period.

I hope they can come out of this. Readers Digest has been around a long time.

When I was a kid, my mom and dad were always buying those Reader Digest Condensed Books. I loved reading them. Hope they don't go under for they're a part of American history.

They have been around forever it seems like. That was one of my fondest memories of my grandfather, when the grand children got married and on their own, he would buy us a subscription every year for Christmas, always get a card in the mail, telling us we had received a gift.

When my grandmother was bedridden, I'd go to house and sit with her. She always had a copy of Reader's Digest and I'd sit in her rocking chair and read it while visiting her.
To this day, I still subscribe. Let's see if you count the years I've been reading it....wow, over 40 years!BerryBaby
