Post Rachael Ray Roundup

That National Enquirer article about Rachael Ray must have made everyone think about her this week, because there were tons of blog posts about Rachael Ray out there! I guess now I understand why they say there's no such thing as bad press. And, luckily it also has a happy ending, since Rachael Ray herself (as noted in one of the links below) has confirmed that there's no divorce going on.

Here are the Rachael Ray posts from around the blogosphere this week. If you see a post that you think would be good for the Roundup, or you write one yourself, e-mail me so I can be sure to include it.
  • Rachael Ray Divorce Rumors Update: Another divorce article in the Enquirer, another denial from Rachael Ray. She told the Chicago Sun-Times that she and her husband John just got back from celebrating their anniversary in Italy. No divorce!
  • Talk Show Ratings Update: Broadcasting and Cable informs us that: "CBS' Rachel Ray was flat at a 1.8, tying NBC Universal’s Maury, which was up 6%." For a comparison, Oprah had a 5.7, Dr. Phil had a 4.5, Ellen was at 1.9, Montel Williams was at a 1.4, and Martha Stewart Show was flat at a 0.9.
  • Rachael Ray's talk show is participating in another auction, this time to benefit St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
  • Baking Bites thinks Rachael Ray's garbage bowls are a good gift idea for the Rachael Ray fan in your life.
  • Ruth at Once Upon a Feast had a head to head pasta battle between a Rachael Ray recipe and a Sandra Lee recipe. Go check out who won.
  • Dr. Timothy Brantly, a contributor to Rachael Ray's talk show, has a blog over at The Huffington Post.
  • Cate at Sweetnicks made something that doesn't sound particularly good, but apparently it's outstanding - Pickled Vegetables and Brie. It's a bottom of the jar recipe, which are usually big hits. She also tried Chicken Teriyaki Sliders from a recent episode of Rachael Ray's talk show.
  • Angela Tunner of The Renaissance Gourmet sees Rachael Ray incorporating some of her favorite techniques to make meals more gourmet.
  • In case you missed the episode, check out this cute story of how Rachael Ray called a bride after being invited to the wedding.
  • Learn more about the winner of Rachael's 10-ingredient challenge in this article from her local newspaper.
  • Day to Day Chronicles features Rachael Ray's recipe for Peasant Pasta.
  • Run Around Paris discusses Rachael's Tasty Travels picks for NYC.
