Post Rachael Ray Home Textiles

We heard about the Rachael Ray Home Collection way back in February and now we get more details on what products Rachael will be offering. According to Home Textiles Today, Rachael has teamed up with manufacturer Town and Country to create "a colorful apron – plus a whole slew of other brightly colored kitchen textiles, and soon-to-come table linens."

The textiles will take advantage of Rachael's signature colors:
Judi Alexander, Town and Country’s vp of licensing and marketing, told HTT the kitchen textiles were made to coordinate with Ray’s cookware, cutlery and dinnerware lines. There will be two design styles for the launch – a striped group and a contemporary floral collection. They come in four colorways – orange, blue, yellow, and green.

“It’s very fun and very fresh,” Alexander said.
They plan on having the prices appropriate for department and specialty stores.

Home Textiles Today also informs us that Rachael will be launching a line of bed and bath products. The bed and bath products are being made by WestPoint. Here are the products being offered:
New to the line are jersey knit sheets in Stay-Brite tones, blankets in eight colors, and the Comfy Sheet -- a moisture wicking sheet with a fitted sheet constructed to fit snugly over mattress ranging from 15 inches to 22 inches deep.

Also new to the line is a “Moppine” two-in-one dish towel/oven mitt. On Ray's televised cooking show, the celebrity often works with a kitchen towel over her shoulder that she also uses as an ersatz mitt.
The Moppine will have "padded pockets on each corner of the dish towel to insulate the hand from heat." Sounds good to me, so I will definitely be keeping an eye out for the release of these products!
