Rachael Ray gets new prime-time show

NEW YORK, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- U.S. culinary personality Rachael Ray has signed a two-year deal with the Food Network for a new prime-time series called "Rachael's Vacation."

Set to premiere Jan. 12, the show follows Ray as she travels the globe, stopping in places like Dublin, Ireland; Bordeaux, France; Lisbon, Portugal; and Barcelona, Spain, to introduce viewers to the spots she loves, as well as giving tips for traveling, shopping and dining. MORE HERE

Doesn't this woman have enough to do? Now they want us to go with her? I don't think this one will be on my viewing list.

Sounds like Giada's Weekend Getaways only with Rachael. I'm sick of all those shows...watching them eat! It's not appealing at all.

I like $40 a day. The only thing I didn't like about it is that she under-tips so if you were going to do the same thing it wouldn't quite be $40 a day.

No kidding, I hope they compensate the restaurants in some other monetary way. I'd be embarassed to leave such messily tips.
