'Delish!" "Yum-o!" "EVOO." "Sammie."
These are Rachael-isms -- words Rachael Ray has added to the lexicon in her wildly popular Food Network shows, "30 Minute Meals With Rachael Ray" and "Rachael Ray's Tasty Travels," her syndicated talk show, "Rachael Ray," and her magazine, Every Day With Rachael Ray. MORE HERE |

Rep Power: 10 | IMO, I would think the trend right now is healthy eating...fresh produce, herbs, fish, light meals.
The sodium in her dishes seems kind of high to me. RR said she doesn't care about calories...just wait until you pass 50, you'll care!

Rep Power: 2 | That The Rach doesn't care about calories for herself is fine. One of my complaints about her though is that she's always telling her audience that a dish is "figure friendly" when in fact it has fistfuls of cheese and other high calorie/high fat ingredients. |

Rep Power: 10 | That's right..doesn't she (or didn't she) always start her shows saying something like..."I'll make a delicious and healthy meal from start to finish in less than 30 minutes"?
Wonder what is her definition of healthy? Maybe she should watch Ellie Kreiger...now, those are healthy meals.
Or, maybe whoever is in charge of her menu should take another look at the ingredients, including the salt content.

Rep Power: 0 | Oh, my heavens! I just checked the calorie counts from the recipes included in the article linked above. Over 700 per serving in the pasta dish, more than 900 in the chili! Good grief. I hope she's enjoying wearing those clingy outfits because she won't be able to much longer.
Did anybody else ever get tired of hearing how marvellous she is for making a meal in 30 minutes? It's really not that hard, you know. |

Rep Power: 10 | I just made my husband and I lunch in 10 minutes....French dip sandwiches with Kosher pickle spears.
Maybe I should write a book...."Lunch in Ten".

Those calories are going to catch up with her. Enjoy it now, RR or you too will be calling Jenny.

Rep Power: 2 | I wonder how many calories a hour one loses for constant jabbering? The Rach might never get fat. |

Rep Power: 10 | Well, hunky-dory is already a word so let's see what we can come up with.
How about hunkalishious?
Here it is in a sentence.
"That meal has to be the most hunkalishious thing that I have ever had!!"
Ok, now someone else can come up with their new word.
Let's make our own food dictionary with new words.
