Now, I know Food Network and HGTV cooking shows are all the rage and I admit, I love them too. I actually do like watching Rachel Ray's cooking show and we TiVo her network show everyday and watch it when she has an interesting guest on ...

I have to admit I thought the same thing when I saw it. I guess if some one is the ultimate Rachael fan it would be a cute gift.

I won a set of her hipster trays on the winter holiday thing with the crackers, I was so disappointed I thought well if I had went to the dollar store and spent 5 dollars could have gotten the same thing only with better quality, what a joke these are, guess if I save them them they might be worth something someday just because they have her name on them, sure would not put mine on them. Her trash bowl reminds me of the old melmac bowls my mother used in the late 50s. I would never be able to fit all my trash for a meal in a little bowl like that, might as well put it in the trash can to begin with. that's my 2 cents worth

My mom still has some of those melmac things. They are brown. I used to eat ice cream in them when I was a kid.

I ran across one of her "GB's" a few weeks ago but I don't recall which store it was at. I personally don't find them a time-saver because you ultimately have to end up sorting through the garbage if you recycle or use a garbage disposal. (But I guess if you have stagehands to clean up after you, it doesn't matter, LOL.)

She also has a doodad out called her "mopine". Now I'm Italian and our mopine is nothing more than a dish towel thrown over one shoulder (like Emeril). Hers is a long, wide cloth that has mitts on either end for grabbing stuff out of the oven. I've seen her use this on a few of her shows and she seems to fumble with getting her hands into the mitts so, again, it's not a time-saver. But I guess anything that she uses, she just throws her brand on it and makes money off of it.

Oh, god, I remember back in the day my mother-in-law got a set of pink and black melmac dinnerware. She was so proud of it! Come to think of it, her bathroom had pink plastic tile with black trim, LOL.

On the last few seasons of RR's 30MM show she always had a yellow plastic rolling pin always sitting on her counter in the background. I have that same rolling pin. It's decades old and I prefer it over anything I've purchased since then.
