Rep Power: 0 | Rachael Ray Nude Photo Scandal Does anyone remember something about a Rachael Ray nude photo scandal or something like that a few years back? I used google images and don't see any, so I am wondering if anyone else knows what happened? I was talking to my brother about Food Network the other day when he asked if Bobby Flay was still on. Apparently he kicked the TV habit a few years back. (My Brother, not Bobby)... And he said "Yeah I will never forget that Rachael Ray nude photo scandal".. And I agreed. Because it seemed like I remember something like that. But I don't see anything about it...
Anyone remember this, like what happened, or how long ago it was? I am thinking it may have been 5-6 years ago or so, but even then you would think there would be something on Google images. |

Rep Power: 10 | No, she did a Maxim magazine shoot. Not nude.
And if anyone googles and finds this thread ... no we don't want to see any. |

| No, I don't think that would be the same ones. I've seen those. Just realized I can find quite a few more photos by turning off Googles moderate safe search in images and I see some pretty strange pictures from FHM, like where she's licking a lollipop or something. Geez. I don't see any from Maxim.
But this is not what I was wondering about. This was not a magazine photoshoot, it was something that happened right when the show (I THINK) $40 a day first came on. There was a brand new show and then Whammo, there were naked pictures on the Internet like that same week.
And NO, I don't have the desire to see them either, I'm just wondering how that happened and if anyone else knew about it. I would have never remembered it if my brother hadn't brought it up. And I know it was not just our imaginations because we both remembered seeing it. |

Rep Power: 10 | Well what ever it was it was a mens magazine and not nude. Once again I don't want to attract the people who search for such things to my website. |

I don't think she's attractive. It just seems strange that there's nothing out there like that now. See, when I saw that she had a new talk show, the first thing that came to mind was those photos, as normally when someone comes into the uber-spotlight like that, skeletons in the closet tend to emerge. And when my brother reminded me of it, I got curious enough to go online just to see the state of affairs... And it's surprising that they are gone.
These were most certainly not Men's Magazine type photos, they were nude, some just topless, some fully nude. They looked like they were taken by a boyfriend or something. Not professional and one of them was in black and white. I clearly remember seeing them. Maybe they are getting them yanked down like with that Paris Hilton movie or something like that, but I am really surprised that not even the people at the Rachael Ray Sucks site seem to know about it.
It may have been even longer ago than I am thinking, I'm going to go look up her shows and see which was it was during, right when it started. I think the very second show of that series also had her in a swimsuit, on a jet ski. That caused some controversy because women were saying that that doesn't belong on a cooking show. People were actually doing letter writing campaigns to advertisers and then bam, there were the photos all over the Internet. People were e-mailing links around all over the place. And now it's like that never happened.....
Very, very strange indeed.. |

I am totally shocked that no one knows about this, and that there doesn't appear to be any trace of it on the Internet anymore.
I am curious if anyone here has been watching Food Network or what it was called before, since around 1996, and if anyone else remembers this. Because, I think, or it looks like it's been pretty much deleted from everywhere. And I didn't know that was possible on the Internet. I did find one of the pictures, but it's in low resolution like the cameras of the late 1990's.
I will almost bet that some time, probably soon, this "event" pops back up again. I mean it was a huge thing, tons of emails and letter writing campaigns and boycotts of advertisers...
People like to bash celebrities, or just talk about them. And I'm just blown away by the fact that there's no evidence of that whole "scandal" as that's what it was being called. People (women in particular) were really upset by it and there was talk of her show being cancelled, as the swimsuit episode of her new show came out almost the exact same day as the photos, as it were a publicity stunt. I just thought someone here of all places, would remember that and perhaps know what happened. I certainly didn't follow it much and like I said, was really surprised that there's nothing about it that can be found on Google. That's really strange... |

Rep Power: 10 | Doesn't seem like many on these boards care to discuss this. If it happened, it was a long time ago and has been dropped. Let's move forward with happier news about RR and others.

Rep Power: 10 | I don't think it ever happened. There are websites that try and fake such things for many stars. |
