Pros: Easy, comes with everything needed
Cons: High Sodium

I was looking for something to make for dinner this evening. I had seen the commercials for the Oscar Mayer Deli Creations a few times so when I saw it at the store I decided to pick one up. It was $3.00.

The box contains:

Oscar Mayer Shaved Smoked Turkey Breast
Kraft Reuced Fat Cheddar Cheese
Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard
Kraft Light Mayo
Harvest Wheat Sub Roll

Even though I had seen the commercial and thought it looked good, and even picked it up at the store, I didn't have really high hopes for the product. I tend to not like TV dinners, and other microwavable items because they never taste quite right. I was pleasantly surprised by this product however.

I followed the simply instructions which was to open up all the packages, make the sandwich how I liked it, and then to microwave it for 50 seconds to a minute. I tried the sandwich and thought it tasted pretty good. The bread was soft and warm, the cheese was nicely melted, and there was a generous portion of turkey meat. I added my own potato chips and drink and had a nice meal. I didn't use the package of mayo, I didn't really think it was needed.

The biggest downside to the product in my mind was the sodium content. The sandwich didn't taste salty or anything like that, but when I looked at the nutrition facts for the sandwich it listed 1410mg for sodium or 59% of the daily value.

All in all I would buy this again to have after I come home from work or before I go to school because it is very easy to make, and for a microwavable sandwich very tastey.
