Question Gadget on Spelling Bee Impossible

In the Spelling Bee Impossible episode Robert used a rotary slicer to slice a zuccini into wide, long strips that he used in place of lassagna noodles to make a vegetarian lassagna dish. I would like to try this but have been unable to track down the slicer on the Internet. I already have a Japanese spiral slicer that cuts slices from the end of a carrot or zuccini but have haver seen one that slices from the side the way they slice the veneer from a spinning log to create plywood. Anyone have any idea what the device is called and where it is available?

Yes it's a vegetable sheeter. But it's rather pricey.

Thanks

Thanks for the prompt response, Susie. Rather pricey though. I may just try making one.

If you do you might be able to sell them and make a fortune!

A mandolin would get you thin slices but not the nice long sheets like that.

That is a lot of money for what is basically a unitasker, though it would be fun to have one.
