I just read the garbage about what was said about Robert Irvine, firings and other THINGS I WONT EVEN MENTION OF BECAUS IM A LADY.IM sick OF THIS! its awful! i WILL SAY THIS, AGAIN iV WORKED WITH A LOT OF CHEFS AND THEY put up with a lot.there isnt many people I hold in high Reguard, he is one of the Highest people I like a lot. He deseerves better than all this! hes the best. My husband as a chef knows what it takes to be good. I hope this smear campain stops in a hurry.:img94:

We all like Robert. If you read some of the previous threads, the information comes from the media sources and we all commented on it. I don't think it is a smear campaign, just stating he enhanced his resume.

Most all of agree, he should be retained by Food Network.

I thought she meant the way the media is handling the situation, although I don't see anything wrong with it. (Granted, I haven't read everything being said about it, but what I have read didn't seem over the line.)

Yes he admits he lied, I think that's what bothers most everyone about it. If they were saying all these things and he denied it I would probably be the first to defend him. Since he admits what they are saying is true I don't see it as a smear, and I think I could forgive him.

This does put the Food Network in a tight spot because of the scandal with Jag, but if I remember correctly he pulled out of the competition himself. Whether he was encouraged to do so we don't know.
