Rep Power: 3 | I caught parts of it after TNFNS but I was doing work so I didn't pay attention. I'd already took an hour break to Iron Chef America and I needed to be back to what I was doing
I really liked the intro... I like guys who can cook and ride motorcycles Michael Symon is pretty good, liked him on the Next Iron Chef thing (though John Besh should've won, but that's another post )
Tried to catch the 2 am repeat, fell asleep. Should've tivoed it... oh well. I liked the orginal but didn't watch a lot, usually I would catch it back when Good Eats was on at 10 pm Wed night and Dinner Impossible was on at 10:30. I'd watch because it was between two episodes of Good Eats!
I'll give the new version a try! |

Rep Power: 10 | I started watching it, but it didn't catch me right away so I turned on something else. I'd keep giving it a couple more tries though.

Rep Power: 1 | I like Mr. Symon...he seemed to approach the entire thing (or it was directed to look like) with a great, head-shaking-in-amazement sense of humor, which really made him appear friendlier to the public. He was also good in the narrations. He just seemed to bring a more relaxed image to the DI protagonist.
On a purely cosmetic note, he seems to dress a HECKUVA lot more casual than Chef Irvine (with his skin-tight, all-black wardrobe); it made me laugh to see him in shorts, sneakers with no socks, and a chef's smock, but that's closer to how I'd dress if I were on TV also, LOL!! |

Like he did on the Christmas battle on Iron Chef America. |

Rep Power: 10 | That's one thing that bothered me during the Iron Chef Competition about Symon and a couple of the others. Besh would be dressed like a professional and they looked like they were showing up to paint someone's house. I think Besh is a top notch professional and displays it with class. I really dislike the pierced shaved and tattooed look. |

Rep Power: 10 | I like Michael okay as a person, I guess he's just not my type. I wouldn't date him, but I could be his friend. Chef Besh would be my type. |
