I wonder if they will keep the whole James Bond kind of opening they had when Robert was doing it? Michael isn't British, so that wouldn't seem quite right for him. It will be interesting to see what they make the opening like for him.
I'm going to miss Robert. Ok, so he lied and got caught, but he still had/has culinary chops. I would not invest in any of his adventures, but I would spend my hard earned money in any restaurant he established/works in.
His opening was right to his style, fit his personality. Over all the show wasn't bad, menu lacked the class that Robert gave it. I think maybe that will come with thyme, if not well hmmmmm we shall see. So far okay, not overly excited, but not sadly disappointed either.

Gotta agree with you Cookin. I liken it to when Jim O'Connor was replaced with George Duran on S L O... The sequel usually isn't nearly as good as the original. I'm willing to give Symon a try though.
