Rep Power: 2 | Get Scratched by Aunt Sandy Sandra Lee is hoping that you're itchin' to get a scratch from her.
Ummm... or maybe not.
Sandra Lee's MEMOIR, Made From Scratch, is currently rocking the Amazon Bestseller's list (memoir category) at #57... right above Little Heathens: Hard Times and High Spirits on an Iowa Farm During the Great Depression and Save Me from Myself: How I Found God, Quit Korn, Kicked Drugs, and Lived to Tell My Story. Two very befitting titles to be surrounded by, I think.
(She's #1,234 overall)
Despite this less-than-stellar number, Aunt Sandy's been doing her best to promote the book. Here she is at a recent book premiere party in NYC. So professional, that Sandra Lee is looking! All black and not a bottle of booze in sight. That youthful, line-free face with the casually swept back hair on the cover seems to be a bit of an electronic embellishment, when compared to the real mug. Note to Aunt Sandy: Next time you put a photoshopped pic of yourself on a book, don't hold said book right next to your non-photoshopped face.
Or you can just stand next to Larry King and try to look young. There aren't any recipes in the book, Larry! ;-) It's a memoir. Oh well.

Rep Power: 1 | While I attempt to understand the odd fascination you have with putting this woman down, photoshopping is an industry wide standard for book jackets. She, like many woman, likely had no control ~ ask Faith Hill about a recent cover spread of her. Maybe you should try smiling that wide, no matter what your age, and see if the same lines don't appear. |
