Did anyone see Sandra Lee on GMA or was it the Early Show? Anyway, I had to leave for exercise and just wondered what she made for Valentine's Day. I'm thinking it probably involved a doilie.

Actually I saw part of it. Done outside and her in a white dress that I'm sure no one would cook in. Only got a glimpse of the sandwich, but a lemon cake for sure. IMHO, way over done for the ocasion. Sorry, that's it!

Most of her shows are way overdone with the decor and her matching outfits.

Wonder if anyone would notice if I started wearing clothes to match our kitchen...hmmmm. White and navy, I could pull it off!

So I was watching (briefly) SL make a quiche. She actually said that cheese was the semi-homemade part of the recipe as well as the frozen pie crust she used. I wouldn't classify cheese as semi-homemade, would anyone?

She uses that expression to indicate that a particular ingredient is the store bought part of the whole semi-homemade theme. 70% store bought, 30% made from scratch = theme. Yeah, I know it makes sense only in Aunt Sandy's mind...after she's had a few of her cocktails.
