Food Network celebrity to give cooking demo in D.M.

One of the Food Network's best-known celebrities is coming to Des Moines this summer for a cooking demonstration.
Sandra Lee, star of "Semi-Homemade Cooking," is scheduled to prepare a meal and answer questions on July 17 at Hoyt Sherman Place.
Lee's visit has been arranged by the Urbandale-based Iowa Soybean Association, which will provide her with soy-based ingredients for the cooking demonstration, believed to be the first in Des Moines by a Food Network regular.
