A good knife is a great investment, did not know what I was missing or how long things were taking till I got my Wusthof Le Cordon Bleu set, yes I paid dearly but it has been worth every penny I paid for them, especially now that you no longer can get them, now they have become a collectors set. But I use them daily.

Since I buy my pork usually in the 1/2 loin and cut boneless chops myself, a good knife is a must. I can usually save at least $3 a pound buying pork this way when it is on sale.

A good set of knives is the best tool you can have in your kitchen. I had gotten a set at BB&B that I thought was good, but they wouldn't stay sharp. After getting my set of Shun knives it's like a different from night to day with the quailty of them. I'm sticking with Shun from here on out.
