Before you criticize someone you should walk a mile in their shoes, that way when you criticize them you are a mile away and you have their shoes!

I believe we had already crossed over into NC, but it was close to the state line one way or the other. I just ride when my hubby is driving and call out when I want to stop. He keeps track of where we are.

The peaches this year are delicious and juicy! And, my favorite, the Lorings aren't even ready for picking yet.

The Hale Havens and Harkins were really, really, good. I froze a whole cookie sheets worth of them to enjoy about December.

Do you know what variety you had? There are so many.

The Red Havens seem to be one of the most available at grocery stores.

    I love peaches!!

I believe they were the Carolina Gold or Norman.

Norman season was in at the time so that's a better bet.

We don't have those two varieties out here. Just like strawberries, there are lots of varieties.
