The Contestants on Food Network's Chopped Television Show

The Contestants on Food Network's Chopped Television Show

January 5, 2009, 11:00 am

Premiering January 13th is Food Network's Chopped (see the video promo), their knock-off of Top Chef featuring Ted Allen as host and guest judges such as Rocco DiSpirito and Aaron Sanchez. The website has finally been updated with information on the contestants, and there are a few chefs from the New York City restaurant scene: Ed Witt, Josh Emett (Chef de Cuisine at Gordon Ramsay at The London), Einat Admony (the chef/owner of Taim), and more.
Maybe, just maybe, this show won't be so bad. Maybe.

This show might be interesting. I'm planning on checking it out. Notice one show in Feb. had bananas, collard greens and grits and all NYC chefs. A couple foods of the South being prepared by NYC boys. That should be very interesting!

Einat Admony, Chef/Owner - Taim, NYC
Kyle Shadix, Chef, Registered Dietician & Culinary Consultant, NYC
Luis Gonzalez, Executive Chef - Knickerbocker Bar & Grill, NYC
Sean Chudoba, Executive Chef - Ayza Wine Bar, NYC
