I'm planning on give it a "look-see" when the first episode airs. I watch "Top Chef" too, so I'll be able to compare the two.

Now... if I could just get the picture out of my head of a guillotine blade coming down each time I hear Ted Allen say "You've been chopped", I'll be okay.

Since Ted Allen has been defending this show so much, I wonder if this show was his idea? Especially since people are comparing it to Top Chef which he was a part of.
