    26 Episodes Of "Chopped" Ordered

Food Network Orders a Full Season of Chopped

    February 4, 2009, 2:30 pm

It was obvious when Food Network announced a casting call, but when Ted Allen blogs about it, it makes it official: Food Network has ordered a full season of Chopped. 26 episodes, slated to air during the summer. That's a big leap of faith after the initial run of five episodes. Suck it Bravo!

    Hey, that's not fair!!

His show was renewed for 26 more episodes - yet Aaron's was only renewed for half of that, 13!

For a guy who just a year or so ago was working, in what a hospital kitchen, I think he should be happy for the 13. Not everyone gets that chance. Not everyone gets renewed. Its not like he's entitled to 26. If he grows his audience and is popular like Ted Allen I'm sure he will be given more episodes.

Ted's show chopped is good. I don't like the other show (food detective ). Ted has been around awhile and his name is well know in some circles.

I Love Aaron. However, Aaron is still growing and will/should get his share of shows.

Yeah, in addition to Queer Eye, Ted has made many guest appearances as one of the pamalists on Iron Chef America, where as Aaron was just beginning to get some attention when his show began.

I love him also, and yes, he WILL get the credit he deserves in time.

As for Chopped, I DID have a lot of skeptism about it, but I guess it made the grade!

Sorry people...I don't know why, but Mr Allen rubs me the wrong way. He is so darn stiff. It's hard to get a real - unstiff, all the way to his eyes-twinkling smile out of him. And then those PATHOS.. " "And the chopped... iiiiiisssss....pathos, pathos, pathos."

I watched last night. I can't believe they kept the guy who dropped the meat in the floor and still served it to the judges.

Yes they even asked him about it when they reviewed the dishes. They wanted to know which one of them got the piece he dropped.
