Chopped - 06/23

Alright, enough with the stupid ass ingredient selections. They give the chefs 20 minutes to make an appetizer with an ingredient that takes 5-8 minutes to clean. Who the hell is coming up with this crap?!

At this point, the appetizer round isn't even about what the chefs make, its about the time. This is ridiculous!!! I'd make the appetizer round 25 minutes and shorten the desert round from 30 to 25.

Thank you! That's how its supposed to be!!! 30 minutes for the entree round is perfect. Its going to be about who has the best dish and not about who finished in time.

The Calamari took forever to clean.

Very good face-off between the last two guys. I thought the cake guy would win, but alas, I was incorrect. I'm so stupid!!! Damn it!!!

Overall, good show, but that appetizer round needs to be fixed. I need to write a letter.

Also, my girlfriend is awesome.

The person I like each round is usually the one voted off every time.

Love this show...the unusual ingredients, the time restrictions....that's what this show is all about.

I've mentioned this before, if they change the format, it won't be the same.

I've been so inspired that I have tried using the basket ingredients to come up with dishes. It's quite fun.

Daughter was visiting a couple of weeks back and we watched the the show.

She got into it as well and started rattling off dishes she'd make with the ingredients.

But then, we both create dishes as we cook, so this show is definitely fun for us....not everyone finds it interesting, I know, I know. Many get frustrated with it, so turn the channel.

It's just an entertaining show, not meant to stress you out.
