This has been the worst Chopped episode that I've seen. They completely compromised the integrity of the show by allowing the chef who didn't complete his plating to pass through into the dessert round. I'm glad that he didn't complete his plating AGAIN there, just to show the judges how stupid they are.
What is it with Alex and female chefs ? is she that intimidated by them. She seems like she does everything in her power to put them down, her look tonight was just well no other way to put it but bitchy, in the limited time that they have and she is worried about the plate being a little sloppy, give me a break. She was that way with the last female chef, she is not that way with the males something just does not set right having her be that way all the time with other female chefs, I Missed the time she was on ICA would of loved to see her in that especially if she was up against Cat Cora. Some shows she seems so nice and on this she is OK with the males but when it comes to females look out, she becomes a total beouch, it really makes one wonder if she is that way all the time, and if so sorry I would not want to even be any where around a person especially if I was going to eat at one of her restaurants, right now I would have to question my choice.

Didn't you post this before about 'I love my chick'?......
I'm not going to saying more than I have posted before...Love the show, as it is, judges, straight-faced, non-emotion, all about the food...great show.
Of course I posted that before, what's it to you? What, you wanna go??? I'll defend my chick's honor to the end!
FYI: I think my chick is "the dish"
Alex was in rare form last night. I'm convinced that she is a demon that has made it up from Hell to feast upon souls of this realm. I'll never eat at any of her restaurants. However, I'm starting to enjoy her evil ways.
I watched this show too, and in the appetizer round I didn't think alex was harsh at all, but all the judges just have that vibe of being kinda devilish...that's just the show. I do think they needed 30 mins for duck breast, that was rediculous.

I think the theme of the show needs to be "who can make the best pan seared meal"? Because that's all they have time to do. Poached, every once in a while.
I'm glad they kept the guy on who didn't finish his plating. He made a statement each time. He made creative dishes, and because he took the time, he didn't have enough time to plate. I would have liked to try those fritters.
