Tyler Florence's Chili Dogs With Creamy Coleslaw

Chili Dogs With Creamy Coleslaw

Tyler kicks up some standard dog toppings with a pinch of chili powder and rounds it all out with a side of creamy, tangy slaw. See video here

This kinda reminds of just adding different condiments to burgers, really how hard is it to cook a hot dog or a burger ? I guess they are trying for the cheaper meals what have we succomb too that we need a trained chef to teach people how to cook hot dogs ?

It's tailgate season. We will see all sorts of tips on things you can fix before the game in the parking lot. I might try the garlic tip next time I make them. Never heard that one before.

We make beer boiled brats with sauté onions, green peppers and garlic that is good, and then use Dijon mustard. The garlic in the water is something I haven't seen, or tried. Guess it would be cheaper than buying the flavored or dogs made with the garlic.

I do the beer boiled brats too. Put the disposable pan on the grill, pour in the beer, add sliced onions and let the brats enjoy their beer hot tub for awhile. Then, they go on the grill until they get some nice color, slap them in a bun, add some mustard and top with the onions from the beer hot tub.
