Very nice. I like to hear it rain if I am going to sleep. Very relaxing. My grandmother had a tin roof, those make a nice sound when it rains.

I love the rain as well, more specifically I love thunderstorms. Growing up in Florida, I've experienced quite a few. I've always loved to sit on the back porch and watch a thunderstorm roll in. I love the clouds, the thunder, and the lightening. I also love to sleep in a storm and I agree that it is very relaxing. Puts me right to sleep.

We don't get much lightening out here. We occasionally hear thunder rumbling at a distance but that is rare as well.

A freak tornado hit a couple of weeks ago in Vancouver (WA), which is about 25 miles from here. Caught everyone off guard. It's very rare to have that kind of weather.

Was suppose to rain today but didn't Now they are saying it may snow tomorrow...I'll believe when I see it. We are in the valley and rarely get any snow. Had flakes a week or so ago but didn't stick. It was hypnotizing to watch.

We may get a powder sugar dusting today as well. The weather people really talked it up last night. Right now, looking out on the street, there isn't anything going on.
