Err.....I think I'll be washing my hair that day.

While I do like Tyler, I don't enjoy watching chefs/cooks on talk shows because they're always rushed through what they're making and it always ends up to be nothing but a fiasco. I don't see this one being any different. I'd much rather they sit and chat with the hosts rather than cook...if you can call that cooking.

True, they rarely get to speak about their lives. Although, Paula has been on Ellen quite a bit and talks about her life...probably more information than we need!

The cooking segments are rushed and many times they are made fun of. I don't care for them either.

Emeril on Jay Leno always tends to look like Iron Chef on speed. Good food takes time, they don't have enough in a "segment" and people who have never seen them before can get the wrong impression of how well they cook.

But I like Tyler it's nice to see him being offered appearances. He seems to have found great success.

That is how it is on the Today show...rush from one dish to the next and you barely get to see what they are talking about. It seems like they only give them 2 minutes to describe what they are doing.

Any time I've ever watched Emeril, he always comes across as being uncomfortable in front of the camera, often times getting confused as to what to do next. I believe he knows what to do cooking-wise but as far as adlibbing with the audience (or camera) I think it throws him all off. If it weren't for his faithful minions behind the scenes doing all the work for him, I don't know what the poor guy would do. So to see him 'on speed' is something I'll have to not miss next time around.

I also think that many of the talk show hosts do too much fooling around which causes mayhem for the chef/cook. I know Ellen loves to throw food around. It can't be easy for them, given the short segments they normally get.

They do try and make it funny which really doesn't do much for the cooking on the talk shows. I like Emeril a lot, and I enjoy watching him but it's annoying to see them only give him about 5 minutes and most of that is spent watching the host be funny.
