Well it certainly can be. We have a corn festival here and has some good eats.

That first event is going to have some really good eats. I'm very familiar with the first two food providers listed - Anson Mills and Caw Caw Creek. The first has some of the best stone-ground grits and the second raises all-natural grass fed pork. And, fans of Good Eats will recognize the third one - The Happy Berry.

Let's just hope it all doesn't get blown away.

Edit: I guess the storms will be gone by October though ... I hope.

Hurricane season ends the end of November, but the worst storms are usually in Sept.

I guess if it gets blown away they could reschedule and rename it "Gone With The Wind" festival.
